I would say that’s a pretty accurate description of how the last few months have been going in general in South Jersey: warm and summery one day, frigid and freezing the next. This unpredictably peculiar winter has me counting down the days until spring, which makes this month’s issue all the more exciting. We take a look at the top summer camps in our area, with fun and educational programs designed to create lasting memories. We also present some preschool and daycare options for parents on the hunt for the perfect childcare for their family.
Before I wrap up, I also would like to take the opportunity to say goodbye to our readers. After five happy years with Suburban Family Magazine and Del Val Media, I will be leaving to pursue new opportunities. You’ll be in good hands as my long-time colleague and friend Liz Hunter will take the helm as managing editor. It has been such a rewarding experience to work with the staff at the magazine and to meet my neighbors through the work I do every day, and I look forward to joining you as an eager reader.
Goodbye for now,
Managing Editor, Suburban Family Magazine
